Join us in supporting the Connectional Lay Organization as we celebrate, gather, and meet during the 40th Biennial Convention…mark your calendars and invite EVERYONE!
Biennial Convention Information Session and inviting you to join us for this important and informative Zoom gathering. As you will see, we have an outstanding group of speakers who will provide brief presentations addressing some of the most important questions as we prepare for the 40th Lay Biennial Convention. This will be the first of at least two Information Sessions designed to help us prepare, inform, and encourage others to join us for this historic experience.
During this 90-minute session:
Sharon Blaylock: Will provide information about the convention center and hotel accommodations.
Kathy Drayton: Will discuss the registration process and what attendees need to know.
Dr. Ouida Collins: Will share important medical and health considerations.
Dr. Nevell Owens: Will provide a geographic framework and helpful information about the destination.
Michael Cousin: Will share information about available Delta flight options.
Donna McKeithan: Will discuss additional travel options, including flights and excursions.
Host President Nomthimba Khoza: Will highlight some of the many activities, events, cultural experiences, and opportunities awaiting us in South Africa.
We recognize that as we prepare for this journey, there are many questions. This Information Session is designed to provide answers, build excitement, and ensure that everyone has the information needed to make plans to attend.

Following the Zoom session, we will use the questions and information gathered to develop a comprehensive.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document. This resource will be added to the Biennial Convention Microsite, which is already up and running and will continue to serve as an important source of information.
This 90-minute session is our launchpad—the beginning of a year of preparation, anticipation, and excitement as we journey “Under the African Sky” for what promises to be an historic and epic 40th Biennial Convention.
