Are you thinking about buying a home, trying to stay in your home, or just wanting to get a better handle on your finances? Our church is pleased to highlight a trusted community partner, Garwyn Oaks Northwest Housing Resource Center (GO Northwest), a HUD-approved housing counseling agency serving Baltimore City.

GO Northwest offers:

  • Free homebuyer education workshops (monthly, usually on the 2nd Saturday) to walk you through the homebuying process, available assistance programs, and how to prepare for homeownership.

  • One-on-one housing counseling for first-time homebuyers and current homeowners, including budget review, credit support, and guidance on mortgage options and incentive programs.

  • Foreclosure prevention counseling for those facing financial hardship or mortgage delinquency, helping explore options to keep your home or make a dignified transition if needed.

  • Connection to the Healthy Neighborhoods Program, providing special below-market loans and grants to support home purchase and renovation in Northwest Baltimore communities.
