Freedom Summer Wellness Support

✨Racial Stress Trauma and Healing ✨

Join us for a powerful and timely moment of reflection, healing, and transformation during AME Freedom Summer.

On Monday, July 6, 2026, at 8:30 PM (Eastern Time), we invite you to be part of a meaningful virtual session on Racial Stress, Trauma, and Healing, led by renowned psychologist, minister, and mental health advocate Dr. Thema Bryant.

In a time when many in our communities continue to carry the weight of racial injustice, historical pain, and present-day stress, this session offers a sacred space to acknowledge those burdens and seek healing through faith, knowledge, and community support. Dr. Bryant brings both clinical expertise and spiritual insight, guiding us toward wholeness with compassion and clarity.

This is more than a conversation—it is an opportunity for renewal. As believers, we are reminded that God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and through intentional spaces like this, we can begin to restore what has been wounded in mind, body, and spirit.

Whether you have personally experienced racial stress or are seeking to better understand and support others, this session is for you. Let us come together as a congregation committed not only to justice but to healing.

Make plans to attend, invite others, and prepare your heart for an evening of truth, reflection, and hope.
